Bible Verses:
Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

Devotion:
This month I would like to talk a little bit about CHANGE in our lives. Change is something that happens to us all, whether or not it is us getting older, or changes in our families and friends. Change is just a part of lives. Sometimes when things change we can wish that they hadn't. There is nothing we can do to stop change from happening. When change comes into our lives that we may not want to happen, God can use it to work something good in our lives. He is helping us everyday and making us into something more like Him. Last month I talked about Trials, Tests and Frustrations. I guess that change could possibly fall into that catorgory also. Let's talk about some different kinds of change. In our own lives we can be changing. We get older and age, we go from kids to teenagers to adults. Change is happening all around us. The seasons change from winter to spring to summer to fall. Change is simply a part of life. Sometimes we do not like it when things change. Friendships may change, thing in our families, things in our world. Even through all this, Jesus is there with us, helping us, guiding us and leading us. Remember, Jesus is one who never changes, he stays the same. When you get discouraged about changes that are happening in your life, remember that God is always with us and will help us through whatever we are facing. Is there some change that God is trying to bring about in your life? Most importantly are you letting Him? He is the same yesterday, today and forever!
God Bless You,
Deborah Allyn Martin
