G.I.R.L Newsletter Issue #26

Songs of the Month:
Jesus Messiah ~ Chris Tomlin
I actually have two songs that I wanted to share with you this month! Saturday evening we went to a Christmas Musical at a church here in town and this song touched me and reminded me of the topic I was writing about this month. So, here is a portion of the song, "Is There Any Wonder?".(Thanks mom for taping it!) Click the link!
Bible Verses:
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 ~ Jesus' birth was prophesied in the Old Testament
And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:1-7
~ He is born as had been prophesied in the Old Testament!
My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?
Why are You so far from helping Me,
And from the words of My groaning? Psalm 22:1
~ The very words Jesus said on the cross are in the Old Testament. In fact, if you read the whole chapter of Psalm 22 it is about Jesus' Death.
Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Some of those who stood there, when they heard that, said, “This Man is calling for Elijah!” Immediately one of them ran and took a sponge, filled it with sour wine and put it on a reed, and offered it to Him to drink. The rest said, “Let Him alone; let us see if Elijah will come to save Him.”
And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!” Matthew 27:45-54 ~Jesus is Crucified
Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.” So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. Matthew 28:1-8
~ And don't forget...HE AROSE!
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
~ This verse is so well known to us, but it is it the basis of why we celebrate Christmas!
Devotion:
I feel like today in Christianity we sometimes tend to overlook what Christ did for us on Calvary. We get so busy in life, so caught up in the daily grind that it has almost become old hat to us. We have become so used to hearing the same story every Easter we just forget the importance of what Christ has done for us. He died on the cross for our sins and for our mistakes. He gave His life so we could have life more abundantly. His love for us is so great we can't even begin to fathom it. Just think how God felt sending his only Son to earth knowing how he would be mistreated and hung on a cross. It must have hurt Him very deeply. But He did it anyway, He knew that we needed a Savior to wash away our sins and wipe away our tears. Let us never forget the Lord's love for us. This Christmas as we celebrate let us remember the true reason we celebrate - Jesus being born for us. I am so grateful that God loved us enough to send Jesus to earth to be born and to later die for our transgressions. Let us not cease to remember the real reason for this wonderful Christmas season!
Love and Prayers,
Deborah Allyn
HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A BLESSED HOLIDAY!

G.I.R.L Newsletter Issue #25 *2nd YEAR ANNIVERSARY*

Song Of The Month:
My Desire ~ Jeremy Camp
Hello from Sierra Vista, Arizona! My family is here again this winter for the ministries which God has called us to! I would appreciate your prayers for us as we are here and for God's direction.
It's hard to believe that as of this month 2 years have come and gone since I started doing the G.I.R.L. Newsletter! It has been a lot of fun and has really helped me with the study of God's word. I hope that you have been blessed by it and I welcome your comments and suggestions! If you have written any Christian writings or anything like that send it to me and I might use it in an issue! Also, if you know anyone who would like to receive the G.I.R.L. newsletter feel free to tell them about it and have them email me at: musicgirl4jesus@gmail.com !
Devotion:
There is a chorus to a certain old hymn that goes like this "Where He leads me I will follow. Where He leads me I will follow. Where He leads me I will follow, I'll go with Him, with Him all the way." Are we really willing to follow Him all the way? It's not always easy. It's not always a lot of fun either, but it is so worth it. Where He leads us we will follow. He knows what is best for us.
"Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:6-7" He knows our needs, but He also knows our desires. This brings to mind the verse, "Delight thyself also in the LORD, and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:4-5." The Lord cares about the desires of our hearts. He will give us the desires of our hearts, but we must delight in Him. We must Commit our way to Him, andTHEN and onlyTHEN will He bring it to pass. Commiting our way to Him is kind of like following where He leads. We need not fear when He is the one leading, but we had better fear if we are!
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6"
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD,
And He delights in his way. Psalm 37:23"
Where He leads me I will follow...I'll Go with Him, with Him all the way!
In Him,
~Deborah Allyn~
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! DON'T FORGET TO COUNT YOUR MANY BLESSINGS!

Song of the Month:
The Healing Hand Of God - Jeremy Camp

Bible Verses:
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Phil. 1:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7
The Lord has made known His salvation; His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations. Psalm 98:2
So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectualfervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:16
Devotion:
Do you ever feel discouraged when praying for your unsaved family members because nothing seems to be happening? God has really been reminding me lately when praying for family who does not know Him that even when we do not see it He is working in their lives. I'm sure there are people or circumstances that you have been praying about for a long time, and maybe you are frustrated because you do not see God moving. God is always working! He is faithful to His promises. Sometimes when we pray the answer is "Yes", sometimes it is "No" and other times it is "Wait". When we are waiting on God for an answer to prayer it can be hard. We need to trust Him that He knows what is best for us. Be Encouraged! The Lord hears your prayers for the unsaved people that you know. He is listening to your cry!
God's Blessings,
Deborah Ally

Song of the month:
Came to my Rescue- Hillsong
Hello all! The other night I was spending some time in my bedroom praying and a sentence came to mind, so I wrote it down. I just started writing and I could not stop. It was like God was writing through my fingers. I thought I would like to share with you what I wrote. Hope you are encouraged by it!
Deborah Allyn

Call out to me and I will answer you. Seek me with all your heart and you will find me. Search for me, find your life in me. The world will offer many things to you, but nothing compares to what I can give you. You may look to relationships to fulfill your desire, they won't. You may look to things and possessions, but they will not satisfy. Look to me the Author and Finisher of your faith, I am your God. I will provide for you. I am your God. I will love you always. I will never leave you. I care for you. Come to me and be fulfilled. Come to me and be redeemed. Come to me and lay down your burdens. I will take them all. Big and small, small or big, I bore your sin on the cross. Nothing is impossible for me. I am mighty. I will do great things through you. I will lead nations to me. You are not forgotten. I have remembered you. By my mighty hand have I picked you up. I have restored you. I have bought you with my own Son's precious blood. You may feel afraid, alone and scared. I will never leave you. Don't forget what I've done for you. I have bought you with my blood. You were purchased as my child. I adopted you. I love you. I care for you. I know what you are going through. I know what it feels like to be rejected. The Jews rejected me. They scoffed and scorned me, laughed and yelled. I still loved them though. I still loved them. I know rejection. Be of good cheer for I have overcome the world. There is nothing too big, nothing too small that I do not understand. My righteous right hand rules. No matter what the earthly leaders do I am in control. I am God and I will be made known among the nations. My light will shine in the darkness. It will shine on through the storm and rain. It will not be put out. No matter what man does I will show myself mighty. I will show myself strong. I will show myself mighty. You will become victorious. There is no temptaion which has come to you that is not common to man but I will make a way of ESCAPE for you.(1 Corinthians 10:13) I am mighty, strong, powerful, wonderful & faithful. I AM YOUR GOD!!!
Hope you all are having a wonderful fall! If you have any prayer requests feel free to email me. I would love to pray for you!

G.I.R.L Newsletter Issue #22

Song of the Month:
Savior King- Hillsong
Hello friends! I heard this excerpt from Psalm 119 at church on Sunday and thought it was very good. I like how it talks about meditating on the Lord, and His Word. May you be spoken to as you read this!
Deborah Allyn
Psalm 119:1-16
1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
Who walk in the law of the LORD!
2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
Who seek Him with their whole heart!
3 They also do no iniquity;
They walk in His ways.
4 You have commanded us
To keep Your precepts diligently.
5 Oh, that my ways were directed
To keep Your statutes!
6 Then I would not be ashamed,
When I look into all Your commandments.
7 I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.
8 I will keep Your statutes;
Oh, do not forsake me utterly!
9 How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word.
10 With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
11 Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You
.
12 Blessed are You, O LORD!
Teach me Your statutes.
13 With my lips I have declared
All the judgments of Your mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate on Your precepts,
And contemplate Your ways
.
16 I will delight myself in Your statutes;
I will not forget Your word.
Praying the remainder of your summer is blessed with the Lord!

G.I.R.L Newsletter Issue #21

Song of the Month:
"The More I Seek You"
This month I thought I would share with you a psalm that I really like.
I have put in bold some key thoughts. I pray that the Word speaks to you.
God's Blessings,
Deborah Allyn
Psalm 27
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.

4 One thing I have desired of the LORD,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD,
And to inquire in His temple.
5 For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.

6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;
Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.

7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice!
Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 When You said, “Seek My face,”
My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.”
9 Do not hide Your face from me;
Do not turn Your servant away in anger;
You have been my help;
Do not leave me nor forsake me,
O God of my salvation.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me,
Then the LORD will take care of me.

11 Teach me Your way, O LORD,
And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.
12 Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries;
For false witnesses have risen against me,
And such as breathe out violence.
13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the LORD
In the land of the living.

14 Wait on the LORD;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the LORD!
Hope you all are having a wonderful Summer!

G.I.R.L Newsletter Issue #20

Song of the Month:
Arms That Hold The Universe
This Month's Topic is:
Bible Verses:
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7
And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do theleast, why are you anxious for the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much morewill He clothe you, O you of little faith?
“And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things.
Luke 12:25-30
And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. Luke 17:6
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:23
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:1-2
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. Romans 12:3
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
Devotion:
This month I would like to talk a little bit about faith. Having faith and trusting God can be hard. We have to trust Him for everything. Sometimes when things look hard, and life seems to be down, it can be hard to have faith that things will ever change. Lately I have been having some stomach troubles, and I sometimes wonder, "When will I ever be better"? I need to have faith in God that He will heal me in His time.
It can be hard to have faith in the midst of suffering, but it is a must! We also must have faith that God will work in His timing, not ours. We have a lot of power that we don't use. The Bible says that we can tell a mountain to move from here to there and it will if we have faith as a mustard seed....WOW! Mustard seeds are very small...God has given us each a measure of faith.
When times are tough, and it is hard to have faith, don't give up. Faith can move the mountains!
Leaning on Jesus,
Deborah Allyn Martin

Song of the Month:
I will Rise- Chris Tomlin
Hi Everyone:
Instead of writing a devotion this month, I thought I would share a Psalm that has really spoken to me.
I really enjoy Psalm 34, and it has blessed me. I hope and pray you all are doing good. The verses that really ministered to me are in the color blue.
If you ever have any prayer requests send me an email, I would love to pray for you.
God Bless you all!! I Love ya!!
~Deborah~
Psalm 34
1 I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me,
And let us exalt His name together.

4 I sought the LORD, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.

8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
9 Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints!
There is no want to those who fear Him.
10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

11 Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 Who is the man who desires life,
And loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil,
And your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.

15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry.
16 The face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.

18 The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
20 He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22 The LORD redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

Song of the Month:
He Knows My Name
Bible Verses:
A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.
Proverbs 17:22
....Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:10
A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
Proverbs 15:13
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Isaiah 35:10
Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.
John 16:22
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand arepleasures forevermore.
Psalm 16:11
These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
John 15:11
JOY:
1. The emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying;
keen pleasure; elation.
2. a source or cause of keen pleasure or delight; something or someone greatly valued or appreciated.
3. the expression or display of glad feeling; festive gaiety.
4. a state of happiness or felicity
Devotion:
Sometimes we like to whine and pout, don't we? I think we would be lying if anyone of us said that we didn't have days when we just weren't that happy with life. God calls us to be happy, to have a merry heart (Proverbs 17:22). When we are grumpy and discontent with life it effects everyone around us, not just ourselves. But, if we have a smiling face, and have joy those around us will feel up lifted as well. A SMILE is contagious to those around us. Knowing who we are in Christ is what brings true joy to our lives. Let's get that frown off of our faces and put a smile on for the joy of the Lord is our strength!
In Him,
Deborah Martin

Song of the month:
Hosanna- Paul Baloche
Bible Verses:
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. Psalm 32:6
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. Luke 6:28
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26
Pray without ceasing. 1 Thess. 5:17
The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. Proverbs 15:29
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6-7
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectualfervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:16
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1 John 5:14-15
Devotion:
Prayer is such an important part of our lives as Christians. It is something we should not neglect. Another thing many of us do, (Myself included) is when we pray we simply pray for all the things we want, and forget to thank God for all the things He does for us! This is not good! I learned something about the order of our prayers:
Adoration (Praising God for who He is)
Confession (forgiveness for things we've done)
Thankfulness (thanking Him for his blessings)
Supplication (asking for our needs/wants and those of others)
God is always waiting to talk to us but sometimes we may just get too caught up with life. This makes God sad. As His friends we should want to talk to Him so that we can get to know Him better. Remember, prayer is not just a one way street. We talk to God, but we also need to take time to listen to what He is trying to tell us. Let us not forget our Prayer Lives!
God's Blessings To You,
Deborah Allyn Martin

Song of the month: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6f9WOFB8pYk By His Wounds- Mac Powell

Bible Verses:

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into diverse temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:2-6

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalm 46:1-3

Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name. When they call to me, I will answer them; I will be with them in trouble, I will rescue them and honor them. With long life I will satisfy them, and show them my salvation. Psalm 91:14-16

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:3-5

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 1 Peter 4:12-14

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Devotion:

"For when I am weak, then I am strong" (2 Cor. 12:10) That is so true! It seems when we are at our weakest spot in life we really are our strongest. It is through our trials, tests and weakness that we really do grow stronger in the Lord. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel may seem long and hard, but every tunnel has an end. It doesn't last forever. "If He brings you to it He'll bring you through it."
I really love these 2 verses of scripture (2 Cor.12:9-10) and how it talks about being strong and having power when we are weak and in difficulties. Though these hardships last for a time they will all eventually end! Sometimes it isn't in our timing, but it will come to and end. God's timing is not always our timing, in fact a lot of the time we say, "God, HURRY IT UP", when He's saying, "Just slow down, let me take care of it, this is doing you some good." but we are just too impatient for our trial to end. So, let us not forget that God is faithful when we are going through hard times! When we are weak, we are becoming strong!!
Living for Jesus,
Deborah Allyn Martin

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Hebrews 13:8

Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken,Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Devotion:
God still works miracles despite what we see happening in our world today. He is a miracle worker. He does the same things now as He did in the Bible. He heals the sick, the blind, He mends the wounds of the broken hearted, HE WORKS MIRACLES! He works them in our lives, and in our hearts. If God is offering you a miracle are you going to refuse it and give it back?I should think not! The Lord never ceases to amaze me with the things He does. He is sure amazing and wonderful. Nothing is impossible for God! Let us not forget that God still works miracles!
